Not a big fan of blogging but…

I totally appreciate your interest in my life, but it’s really not all that interesting at this time. Well, maybe it is, but I’m not a big fan of airing my laundry in public so if you really want to get to know me, just ask!

That being said, a little overview wouldn’t hurt, right?

I am the manager of finance & admin at the IFPDA based in NYC though I am currently living in Philly. Philly is cool but nothing will ever beat the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle.

I am a retired party girl, though sometimes old habits die hard… I am fun and loveable and way too nice and generous for my own good. I work very hard for the little bit that I have in this world.

I LOOOOOVE my fluffy black cat named Elvis (or Vishy, or Vicious, or Fatty, or whatever we decide to call him on any given day).

When I say we, it’s because I am now married to my loving husband Ian, a PhD student at Drexel who is studying particle physics (please don’t ask me bc I zoned out around calc 5, just ask him because he loves to talk about it)

I love to travel and have lived in Belgium and France (yes, I speak french fluently along with Franglish {franglais}, which is TOTALLY a thing). I’ve visited at least 14 countries but have so much more to do. Sadly, finances and life have gotten in the way in the past many years. Adulting sucks, but I’m sure we all agree on that.

If I had a million dollars, I’d pay off my student loans, buy a car that doesn’t have a permanent check engine light, and get a nice modest house that doesn’t require a week to clean it in full. And then I’d take a nice month-long (at least) trip through Europe but stay in hotels this time instead of hostels. Oh, and I’d drink the wine, all the friggin wine. And then I’d probably be broke again so… anyone got a spare mil lying around? If so, lmk, k?
